Accessibility Statement
Craley Gate Services wants everyone to be able to learn about our gate services and reach us, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification or voice control. Updated October 12, 2026.
Accessibility on This Website
Our Target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA on craleygatesdoors.com. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with disabilities, and they make a site easier for everyone to use on a phone standing at a gate in the rain, too.
What We Have Done
- Each page has a clear structure: one main heading, headings in order, and labelled regions for the header, navigation, main content, sidebar and footer.
- A “Skip to main content” link appears first when you press Tab.
- Everything works with a keyboard, including the phone menu (it also closes with Escape), the FAQ answers, the forms and the interactive tools, and the keyboard focus is always visible.
- Text and background colors meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1, including text on buttons, and urgency ratings always carry a word, never color alone.
- Every photo has a text description of what it shows.
- Tables have header cells, and on phones the wider tables turn each row into a labelled block so nothing is cut off.
- Every form field has a visible label; required fields are marked, and if something is missing the form says what, next to the field.
- Results from the tools are announced to screen readers when they change.
- The site has no autoplaying media, no time limits and no moving content, and pages work from narrow phones to wide screens and at 200% zoom.
How We Test
Before the site is published, and again after changes, every page is checked automatically for HTML errors and accessibility rule violations, and with the Lighthouse accessibility audit at phone and desktop sizes. Pages are also checked in a real browser at phone and desktop widths, including the phone menu, the forms and the tools. We have not tested with every combination of browser and assistive technology, so we welcome reports of anything that does not work for you.
Known Limitations
- The interactive tools need JavaScript. Without it, the same information is in the tables and text on each page, or by phone.
- Photos show gates and work; their descriptions say what is in each photo, but they cannot convey every detail.
Report a Problem
If something on this site is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, tell us and we will help. Call (717) 670-8837 or email konner@craleygatesdoors.com, and include the page address and what went wrong if you can. We will reply and, where we can, fix the problem or give you the information another way. You can always request service by phone instead of the online form.
